The clubhouse

Our clubteach Áras Chluain Tarbh is a fine building located on Seafield Road in Clontarf between the Belgrove Boys and Girls Schools (map). As well as the all weather astro pitch which can be booked for childrens parties at weekends, the clubhouse has one main hall and various rooms that are available for hire either for classes/meetings or for parties in the evening.

If you would like to enquire about booking a room please contact us by email.

The clubhouse is a hive of activity morning and night with various classes as well as choir practice and ranganna Gaeilge.

Party Facilities

The club has some great facilities for running events for you, your mentor groups and your teams. With the number of teams that we have now at adult and underage, we are starting to book up slots for the coming Christmas season already.

So, if you are thinking about a Party or get-together for your team, the club is here to support you to make it a great night for all concerned.

Larger Events
For large events, we have the hall downstairs that has been recently renovated (and looks fab, complete with large screen on the wall!) and can accommodate up to 150 people (and can include using the Astro out the back of the club). The hall has a mobile bar, a flexible stage and a sound system (with microphones) available.

Smaller Events
For smaller events, the Cúldoras bar upstairs can be used, with or without the annex room to the side and/or the committee room at the end of the hall for food and kids as needed. There is a table tennis table in the room opposite the bar.

If you are bringing a team down, the club will work with you to organise food for them with some of our local partner companies and will cover the some or all of the cost (within reason!)

Brilliant, how do I book?
To get the ball rolling, just drop Jude, our Club Administrator, an email on administrator.clontarf.dublin@gaa.ie with what you need, and we’ll take it from there. But act quickly - the slots are booking fast!

Club astro

An Astro is located behind our clubhouse Áras Chluain Tarbh. From late Autumn to late Spring it is a hive of activity in the evenings with many teams training on it. During the week it is used by the local schools. The addition of a hurling wall in recent years has increased it's versatility as a training facility.

The adjoining rooms can also be booked for parties etc, please contact us by email for details.

Pop-Up Gaeltacht

There will be a Pop-Up Gaeltacht at our clubhouse on the second Thursday of each month , starting on 12th January 2023. The group will meet in the Cúl Doras bar from 8:30pm.  This is connected with a group who support regular PopUp Gaeltacht events in the local area, including:
