We wish you a Merry Christmas!

As we approach the end of 2024, we would like to wish all our members, players, parents and guardians, FLOs, volunteers, sponsors, patrons and friends a very Happy Christmas. Before we go, a few important items for your attention coming up over the holidays.

Christmas Bar Opening Hours

See below for An Cúldoras, the club bar’s opening hours over the holidays.

Nora Arthur Memorial Tournament

The Nora Arthur tournament will take place on Friday 27th December. We want as many as possible to play and donate. This is our 3rd year and the turnouts to date have been fantastic.

We want families to play together and each team must have 2 ladies. The first game is 3pm sharp so please arrive at 2.30pm to sort teams out.

This is a fantastic way for us as a club and a community to show our support to the Arthur family at Christmas time in memory of Nora. The bar will be open and there will be music on the night from 7.30pm, hope to see you all there. Click to register.

Christmas Tree Collection

Our annual Christmas Tree Collection Service will be held again on Saturday 4th January 2025. This is the primary collection date, but there will also be a limited collection on Saturday 11th.

The service is carried out by volunteers as a fundraiser for the club. The event will be held at the clubhouse with trees mulched on site and recycled directly from the club.

Thank you to those that have supported us over the years and we hope to see you again in the New Year.

End of Year Video (your inspiration to volunteer!?)

If you haven’t had a chance yet to see the end of year video, make yourself a cuppa and enjoy this 11 minute oddessy through Clontarf GAA’s 2024, another incredible year for our club with a number of notable firsts. You might be surprised at the breadth of activities happening around the club. Remember, it’s all voluntary so we’re always open to more volunteers if you have skills in any area. The more that put up their hand, the less for everyone to do! Drop a note to chair@clontarfgaa.com if you would like to give a hand in any area.

We hope you and your families have a wonderful Christmas and we wish you all the best for a happy and successful 2025 on and off the pitch. Don’t forget, we are very dependant on our incredible sponsors and patrons so please support them with your business wherever you can.
