COVID rules continue to apply
Given the continued issues regarding Covid-19, there are a number of key conditions that need to be met by both the club and the players/parents to allow us to return.
It is for the safety of everyone and it is only by adhering to these conditions, are set out by the GAA, that we can resume training.
Every Parent/Guardian of Underage Players must complete the Covid-19 Club Education eLearning Module (https://courses.gaa.ie/Covid19ClubEd/#/)
Once completed please send a digital copy of your cert to Grainne.
Complete the online questionnaire (https://returntoplay.gaa.ie) for your child.
The questionnaire will need to be resubmitted prior to each training session in order to attend that session. We have access to the list of submitted questionnaires, there is no need to send on a copy.
We are not in a position to allow players to attend that have not completed the above steps, so please take the time to ensure they are completed prior to returning as we do not want to be in a position to turn a player away. There have been a number of instances of parents not updated the health questionnaire prior to training.
This forms the basis for track and trace should a case arise, and failure to have an adequate process in operation threatens the whole club in terms of its ability to continue to train and play should a case arise.
This is placing a significant additional administrative burden on those mentors that have volunteered to be COVID Supervisors for the squad and we welcome your cooperation to reduce to overall workload.
