First ever All Stars Blitz!

On 23rd May, three local clubs, Raheny GAA, Clontarf GAA and Scoil Uí Chonaill hosted our inaugural All Stars Blitz. It was a fabulous celebration of everything that is good about the GAA. Even the rain couldn’t dampen the great spirits on what was a wonderful afternoon! Well done to all the organisers and helpers and of course well done to the players! Some precious memories below from a brilliant day.

The Solar Revolution is here!

Great news to report today that the club is now covered in 36 Solar Panels, creating a valuable source of energy to run our clubhouse. Installed and commissioned by MMK Solar under the guidance of our Green Team and Executive, the 36 panels adorning our roof will produce a maximum of 14KW of green electricity. This power will either be consumed by the building, used to charge the storage battery or exported to the electricity grid.

With this system we expect the club’s electricity expenditure to reduce by €3,000 per year.

In even better news, the team was able to secure grant funding to cover the cost of the installation.

Well done to all involved, a great news story as we head into the sunnier months!
