Teamer Responses

  • Please reply to Teamer match notifications from mentors as soon as possible, as we have a large group and it takes a lot of effort to organise matches, training session, etc.
  • Teamer is an excellent way to organise matches, with each match being set up as an event.
  • You will receive a Teamer notification notifying you of the match (Via Email or the Teamer App).
  • Please "accept" or "decline" the invitation to play because it makes the mentors lives a lot easier to organise the teams!
  • Please contact one of the mentors if you are not currently receiving Teamer notifications.
  • Parents are requested to call or text one of the mentors should their daughter be unavailable for a competitive fixture.  
  • Advance notice allows the mentors to re-organise and make better use of substitutes across other teams in the squad.

Mentors & Coaching

  • Coaching is done on a volunteer basis and the mentors do so as a way to contribute to the community of Clontarf and surrounding areas.
  • All coaches are parents of players, and are members of Clontarf GAA club.
  • Please be respectful of the coaching staff during our training sessions and match fixtures. 
  • Please always arrive on time as the warm-ups are crucial to getting the girls ready and focused.  
  • This makes our job a lot easier and in turn a more enjoyable experience for the girls.
  • We can do with all the help we can get to setup pitches / bibs / training gear, etc.. and don’t worry, it only looks like hard work!

New Players

  • We are always looking for new girls to join our group and all levels are catered for.
  • However, we can only accept girls born in 2006.

Athletic Development

  • As part of the girls training, we will incorporate some light & fun athletic development modules within our training / pre-match warm-up session focussing on agility, balance, coordination and core strength.

Match Refreshments

  • We would very much welcome parents to provide healthy refreshments at matches (e.g. oranges & of course loads of water for half and fulltime!).
