(i) All girls to arrive at or before 1pm, ready to start a warmup at 1pm.
(ii) Each game is 25 minutes in length with an immediate change-over at half-time.
(iii) The times of the games are as follows:-
Game 1 is from 1.05 to 1.30 pm.
Game 2 is from 1.35 to 2.00 pm.
Whereas the mini leagues will start on Saturday, 11th November, later dates may be subjected to changes but notice will be given in relation to any changes of any of the proposed fixtures.
(iv) In order to protect the clubhouse windows, when playing into the clubhouse end, points can only be scored by hand-passing/fisting the ball over the bar. Goals can be kicked into the clubhouse end in the ordinary way. No such restrictions apply when playing into the Kincora Road end of the pitch.
(v) Generally, each team has 8 players. With 8 a-side, both teams play a set goalie rotating amongst all the players over the 25 minutes thereby meaning that every player is getting approximately 3 minutes or so per game.
(vi) If however, one team has one player more than another, then the team with one more player should play with a stick goalie with the team with the lesser numbers free to operate on a “last player back is the goalie” basis.
(vii) If however one team has 2 or more extra players than their opponents then that team needs to use subs so as to make sure that each team is playing the same number of girls per team.
