Introduction

The club caters for those who moved from midfield to full back and finally to retirement. Many of our mentors partake in the Social Football activities on Wednesday and Friday evenings and now Mondays for Ladies. We have Social Gaelic Football, Peil na mBan Soisialta, new for 2015 Social Hurling and Social Soccer. Non club members are welcome to join and social memberships costs just €60 and an additional €20 for insurance.

Peil Sóisialta:

As of May 2015 this takes place every Wednesday throughout the year from 9-10pm at the clubhouse astro. The rules follow the standard rules of Social GAA as played in several other clubs, i.e 1 hop + 1 solo, no contact and a variety of conditioned games. From time to time the group participates in inter-club challenges and in March 2011 they played their 1st game v Beann Eadair of Howth. For more information on joining contact Derek Gallagher (086-8213286).
