Ladies Junior
23rd April 2008 , League  Div. 7
Clontarf 6-15 Ballyboughal 0-2

Junior ladies had a profitable visit to Ballyboughal last night.  Playing against a Ballyboughal side that tried hard throughout the Clontarf juniors won well.  Clontarf opened the scoring with points from Ciara Carville and Iseult Cremen.  This was followed by well taken goals from Amy Farrell and Iseult Cremen.  Ballyboughal were confined to two points in the first half although they would have had a goal were it not for a timely block by Fiona McCabe.  Halftime saw Clontarf leading comfortably by 2-6 to 0-2. The game remained in the balance entering the second half  however the Clontarf ladies pulled away adding 4 goals and 9 points with no reply.  Top scorer on the nigh was full forward Amy Farrell with 3-2 while others to perform well were Miriam Foley, Grainne Free, Ciara Carville and Fiona McGinn.
