JUNIOR A'S END LEAGUE CAMPAIGN - Monday, December 12, 2005
Clontarf's Junior A team completed their league campaign with a good away win against Thomas Davis (3-7,1-10). While the team have finished the season with a creditable 17 pts and a 6th or 7th place finish, the focus now turns to the Stacey Cup final on Dec. 18th V Ballyboden SE. Damien Mullins was the star performer, scoring all 3 of Clontarf's goals, while Brian Cotter gave a solid display in the backs. Clontarf trailed by (1-7,1-2) at half time.

SENIORS LOSE LEAGUE PLAYOFF - Sunday, December 04, 2005 Clontarf Seniors ended their season with a 6pt defeat to Fingallians. At half time Clontarf commanded a 5pt lead and had the advantage of a slight breeze in the 2nd half. The team failed to get going in the 2nd half and Fingallians took full advantage. WINS FOR U21's AND JUNIOR A's - Monday, November 28, 2005
It was a good weekend for the Adult footballers. On Sat the U21's disposed of Fingal Ravens in the 1st round of the championship on a scoreline of 2-8,1-4, with Kevin Leahy contributing 1-5. Read more on U21's 2005
On a bitterly cold Sunday morning in Clonshaugh, the Junior A's avenged the league defeat by St. Oliver Plunketts in Oct., overcoming them on a scorline of 1-7, 0-6 to reach the Stacey Cup final. Read more on the Junior A's 2005 |
