Following up on the first outing for our third adult hurling team last week Sunday was the first day we fielded two Minor Hurling teams within the club. Well done to all 37 players who togged out including the Faoi16 lads that played up with 1 win and 1 defeat.

Our Seniors won the local derby in their first outing in AFL2 defeating Scoil Uí Chonaill 1-10:0-7. A cúl from Kevin Lillis featured in a big second half as they recovered from a 0-4:0-2 half time deficit. Our Junior A peiladóirí defeated O'Dwyers 0-14:-0-8 in AFL5 while our Junior B team lost to Ballyfermot DLS in AFL9.

Our Faoi15A buachaillí made it 3 wins from 3 in Roinn 2 defeating Ballymun Kickhams at home. The Bs put in a great shift in Castleknock but lost out. The Faoi11 Eagles took to the skies and had a good win away against BSJ while the crossover Bobcats-Falcons playing as the Wolves  showed promise in a tough outing.

The Faoi9 buachaillí had their first Peil Go Games on Saturday hosting Sylvesters. Well done to the Eagles, Patriots and Jaguars who all played really well.

GRMA to Kerry legend Dara Ó Cinnéide who was the guest speaker at the annual Chairman's Evening sponsored by Trustee Decisions which took place on Friday night at the clubhouse. Dara provided a very entertaining recount of his GAA career with An Ghaeltacht and Ciarraí and the characters that influenced him along the way. His insights into coaching and the GAA in general captivated the audience for the evening. Congratulations to Noel Hickey who was presented with a Club Fleece as a Special Appreciation Award. Congratulations also to Trish Duffy who received The Club Person of the Year award sponsored by Duggan Jewelers.

For the first time Cluain Tarbh will field 3 adult hurling teams in 2018 and on Sunday our Junior B hurlers defeated Erins Isle in their first challenge game. This was their first outing with a blend of experience with the team having players ranging in age from 18 to 52.
