On behalf of the Executive and members of CLG Chluain Tarbh we extend our deepest sympathy to the family of Andy Kettle on his recent death.

Clubnotes December 15th, 2014

Well done to our Minor Footballers who defeated Ballinteer St. John in the semi final of the Minor B Championship, check website for details of the final. We invite members to check out our new updated website, with thanks to Kevin Devine , Rónán Gallagher and John Keegan for all their work. Wi-fi has now been installed in our clubhouse for the benefit off all our members. Our thanks to Pat Walsh, Pat Campbell and Donal Nolan for their work in getting it installed. All mentors are invited down to the club , this Thursday the 18th for Christmas drinks, from 9.30pm. Our regular monthly music night takes place this Friday the 19th from 9.30pm. All members welcome. The club would like to extend it's deepest sympathy to former Chairman Don Palmer and his family, on the recent death of father Don Snr. U11 boys finished out their football season with 3 fine wins over St. Sylvesters, while U11 hurlers enjoyed December hurling as they took on Na Fianna on Sunday. Clubnotes December 1st, 2014

Well done to all our Adult and Minor teams that received their medals at our players awards night last Saturday night. Congratulations also to all individual award winners. Darren Lambert and Brian Keenan were given a presentation to mark the end of their long playing careers with the club. Many thanks to Dublin Hurler,Danny Sutcliffe who presented our Adult and Minor hurling teams with their medals .Thanks also to Damien O Meara from RTE Sport, who was our MC for the evening. We also would like to thank all those who helped with the organisation of the night. Our AGM takes place this coming Friday at 8.00pm. We ask and encourage as many of our full members to please attend this important meeting. TOTW goes to our Adult Hurlers, gaining promotion to Division 4 after a tensely fought battle with Kilmacud on P35 last Sunday. Joint managers of the month is our very own Troika, comprising of Mick Keane, John Troy and Chico Teeling. Special thanks to Chico, who steps down after years of loyal service. MOTM is awarded to Stokesy, following a powerful display in midfield. Huge congrats also to our U13 squad, who followed up their winning of Div 2 in hurling by completing the double. They defeated Castleknock in the Div 2 football final after extra time. There were great performances on the day from Cian Mulligan, Barry Mangan and goalie Kevin Bohan. We look forward to further success from this group of players in the coming years. The club is holding our adult players award night this coming Saturday night. We invite all our player and their partners to come down to celebrate our great successes in 2014. The Club AGM takes place on Friday December the 5th at 8pm. The 2014 AGM will take place on Friday 5th December at 8 P.M. sharp in Áras Cluain Tarbh. All full members are asked and encouraged to attend, as there will be plenty of issues to discuss. Motions and executive nominations for the meeting must be received by the Acting Club Secretary no later than 8.00pm Friday November 14th 2014 to secterary.clontarf.dublin@gaa.ie or dropped into the clubhouse letterbox for my attention by that date. These require both a proposer and seconder. We plan to distribute the information packs on the AGM electronically to all full members in the week prior to the AGM. There were no games of note at the weekend due top the weather conditions. TOTW is our U13A Footballers, winning their play off match against St Margaret's to reach the Div 2 Final. Heroes all but we single out Matthew McMahon, Adam Beatty, Alex Cooke and Kevin Byrne for special mention. Our Junior A Hurlers emerged victorious in their penultimate league game against Raheny on Sunday. This play-off victory has earned the lads a winner take all showdown with Kilmacud Crokes next week to decide who gains promotion to Division 4. We look forward to a good day out. Well done lads. Commiserations to our Junior B Hurlers, just coming up short against Lucan in a top 4 Play-off semi-final. Our Minor Footballers lost out to Fingallians by the narrowest of margins in The B championship, in what was truly a great sporting spectacle. Commiserations to our lady Minors, losing out by only a few points against Na Fianna in The Division 3 Championship Final. The Club extends it's sincere sympathy to senior footballer Ian Smith on the death of his father Maurice last week. TOTW is our U10 hurlers winning all 5 matches away to Cuala and O'Toole's. What a great end of the season for these up and coming stars. Man of the day was Martin Kane following a dogged display of determination and effort. Huge congrats to our U15 footballers, winning the Division 2 Championship Shield in style, at the expense of a gallant and courageous Trinity Gaels side up in St. Paul's. Dylan Collum deserves special mention. Congrats also to our Junior A Footballers, winning a relegation play off to maintain their division status. Commiserations to our U16 footballers, losing out to Kilmacud Crokes after extra time in The Division 1 League Semi Final. We wish Patrick Smyth a speedy recovery following a nasty facial injury received during the game. Commiserations also to our U21 hurlers, going out of the championship after extra time against Sylvesters. This despite a fantastic performance that belied their years. Well done to our adult ladies team, who had a convincing win against Maurs to finish second in their league. Our U11 Girls recorded three great away wins away to Lucan. A great week for club hurling with the Minors and U13's both claiming Division 2 league titles. Johnny Mullins fired 2 crucial goals to help the minors defeat Whitehall by 2pts in a brilliant contest.This coming Sun 26th, our Junior hurlers are representing Dublin in the 1st round of the Leinster Junior championship v Shamrocks (Offaly) in Tullamore at 12:45. A great night for the club on Saturday night as former club chairman Aidan Shiels, representing the county board , presented the cup to our AFL3 league winning squad.The Seniors now host Cuala in the Senior B C'ship 1/4 final on Wed, 7:30pm. Adult A hurlers had a super week, beating Kilmacud and Skerries to secure a promotion playoff spot. Many thanks to the team of club mentors and parents, led by Darren and Donal who helped organise the Leinster U/10 girls blitz, on Saturday. Almost 700 girls participated in the blitz. Minor Hurlers take on Whitehall in the Div 2 league final on Sunday 19th, 11am at their pitch, all support welcome. Many thanks to Mary Hoy, who organised a successful fashion night in the club on Friday night. The club would like to express it's appreciation to Bryan Maher (Tipp), who stepped down as mentor of the U15 hurlers last week, after looking after them over a a period of five years. Clubnotes October 6th, 2014

Well done to our Senior Footballers and management team on winning AFL3 after a fantastic effort all season. Congratulations also to our U12A Footballers who went the season unbeaten to top Division 2. A brilliant performance by Brian Dufficy in goals helped the U16B hurlers to a fine 2pt win over Peregrines. U10 Camogie recorded 2 great wins at the weekend.The club is hosting a ladies fashion show, this coming Friday the 10th at 8pm in the clubhouse, with special guest, Irish clothes designer Liz Quinn.There will be 20% discount on the night on items purchased. Many thanks to our U/16 boys and girls mentors and players for organising our recent old clothes collection fundraiser. The numbers drawn in our weekly lotto were, 1,5,21,27. There was no winner. Weekly consolation winners were Padraic Casey and Paddy Farrelly. Next weeks jackpot is €5400. Clubnotes September 29th, 2014

TOTW goes to our U15 Footballers, defeating St Pats in the quarter final of the B Championship Shield. MOTM goes to Liam Ennis, following a great display at half forward. Our Junior A Hurlers defeated Trinity Gaels in The Leinster Hurling Championship play off, in what was another terrific performance. Our Minor Footballers also recorded a great win over Whitehall in the B Championship, with Johnny Mullins chipping in with three 2nd half goals. Our U14 Footballers defeated St. Judes to get through to the league play offs. Our U13 Footballers also defeated Naomh Mearnóg in division 1 in what was another terrific performance from this group of players. The U12 Footballers qualified from the group stages of a Templeogue Synge Street Invitational Football Tournament. Clontarf would like to thank the hosts for accommodating us. Our U12 Hurlers had mixed results against Na Fianna, Castleknock and Fingallians. Our U10 Hurlers also had great wins over Lucan and Ballinteer. Our U9 Hurlers also recorded very credible performances in two Hurling Blitz's at the weekend, at home and in Swords. Commiserations to Margaret Mohan and Sarah McCaffrey, part of the Dublin team defeated by Cork in the All Ireland Final on Sunday. Juvenile subs are now overdue and must be paid immediately. Best wishes to Sarah McCaffrey, Margaret Mohan and the Dublin ladies team in the All- Ireland final against Cork this Sunday. There will be a BBQ in the club following the final from 6.00pm to 8.00pm. All are invited down to welcome Sarah and Margaret back to the club. Commiserations to our Minor Hurlers, losing out to St. Vincent's in a terrific championship match on Sunday. Clontarf were without seven definite starters, but still put in a terrific performance. In our juvenile section our U13 hurlers enjoyed a good win over St. Sylvester's. Our U12's had good wins over St. Peregrines and Westmanstown. Our U11's also won one out of three at the weekend. Our U10's recorded two draws and a win against St Vincent’s and Whitehall Colmcille respectively. Our U9's recorded a win and a loss against Whitehall. Our Minor Girls had great championship wins against Foxrock Cabinteely and Naomh Barróg. In our juvenile girls section our U11's defeated Castleknock and St. Peregrines. Our U9's performed well against Whitehall and St Vincent’s. Juvenile subs are now overdue and must be paid immediately. Forms can be downloaded on our website. Finally, the club is organising a clothing and textile recycling drive to raise funds for the club. Clubnotes September 15th, 2014

Both Minor Football Teams recorded great wins in the championship first round. A Team defeated Trinity Gaels whilst B Team defeated Raheny. Well done our Adult A hurlers, defeating Marks in the Leinster Junior Championship playoff and now progress to play Trinity Gaels. Hard luck to our Adult B hurlers, losing out narrowly in the 1/4 final of the Championship to Kilmacud. Our U16 Footballers defeated OPER away, cementing their place in Div1 play-offs. Commiserations to our U15 Footballers, losing out in both championship games against Castleknock and Lucan. Our U13 Footballers had a great run in the prestigious Lee Strand Tournament in Tralee on Saturday, narrowly exiting in the semi-final. Many thanks to Austin Stacks GAA who kindly hosted the boys for 2 nights. Our U12 hurlers defeated top of the table OPER in what was a terrific display. The U13's also defeated Margaret's in a top of the table clash. Our 10's had a great Saturday, defeating Crokes and Castleknock. Our U9 hurlers chiselled out a narrow win over a gallant Parnell's. In our girls section the U15 and U13's defeated Castleknock in the league whilst our U11's defeated Fingallians and Pat's Donabate. The U10's also recorded great performances against Ballinteer and Tempelogue. Special thanks to GPO Stephen Behan for organising a great coaching night in the club on Friday and many thanks to his two great guests Gerard O'Connor and Liam Moggan. Video on the website soon. TOTW goes to our Minor Lady Footballers, defeating St Pats Donabate in The Championship. MOTM goes to Michelle Hetherton, pitching in with 1-04. Our Senior Footballers also recorded a great win over St. Vincents in the league, inching ever closer to promotion to Division 2. In our Juvenile section our U16's lost out to Na Fianna in The A Championship. Our U14's went down to Crumlin whereas our U13's had a great win over Round Towers Clondalkin. Our U12's recorded good wins over Cuala and Ballyboden Wanderers. Our U11's had good wins over Naomh Barróg. U10's recorded Five wins out of six against various opposition. U9's also recorded great displays against Maurs. U15 Football Championship Div2 is next Sunday against Castleknock away - please support. In our Girls section our U15's had a great win over Parnells in Div1. Our U13's went down to Na Fianna whereas our U11's recorded great victories over Brigid's and Vincents. Juvenile subs are now overdue. All mentors are requested to attend a coaching presentation at the clubhouse, this Fri, 7:30pm. Liam Moggan and Ger O'Connor will present 'Coaching v Training'. The club wishes Brian Maxwell of our U13's a speedy recovery from the serious injury he got while training with his school. Finally the numbers drawn in our weekly lotto were 7,13,14,24. No winner. TEAM of the week goes to our U13 Footballers, recording great wins over St. Maurs and Lucan Sarsfields. Special mentions here for Mark, Fergal, Leo, Tom, Paul and Philip following excellent defensive displays. Our U15A Footballers lost out to Erin's Isle on Thursday in the league. Our U10 Footballers also enjoyed fine victories over Fingallians. Our U16B Girls also recorded a most impressive display against Foxrock Cabinteely. Our U13A Girls won their opening Cup match against a strong Skerries side on Saturday. Our U13B Girls however came up a little short against Whitehall at home. Querrin Lillis, Áine Walsh and Katie Doyle deserve special mention for great performances on the day. Commiserations to Dublin representative Jack McCaffrey, losing out to Donegal in the All Ireland Senior Football Semi-Final on Sunday. Commiserations also to Andy Foley and Declan Monaghan, losing out in the Minor Football Semi-Final by the narrowest of margins. Congrats to Margaret Mohan and Sarah McCaffrey, part of the Dublin Ladies Senior Team that defeated Galway in the TG4 All Ireland Football Semi-Final on Saturday, winning by a margin of four points.www.clontarfgaa.com

Clubnotes August 25th, 2014

Team of the Week goes to our U13 B Footballers who defeated TSS to stay top of their league. Senior Footballers lost narrowly to Na Fianna in a close encounter. Clontarf still maintain top spot in AFL3, with 3 games to play. U13 A and B teams recorded excellent league wins. U11 hurlers concluded their summer Camaint series at finals day in Parnell Pk. Tickets ordered for the Dublin/Donegal game can be collected on Friday evening from 9-10pm, in the club bar. There will be a BBQ in the club following the Dublin match from 6-8pm, with the match replayed on the new big screen TV. Best wishes to Jack and also to our Minor representatives Andrew Foley and Declan Monahan. Well done to Sarah and Margaret with the Dublin Ladies who reached the All Ireland quarter final.There was no winner of the club lotto this week. The numbers drawn were, 1,16,25,27. Hard to our Adult A hurlers, losing out by 1 point to Plunketts in a thrilling top of the table clash in AHL5. The club was deeply saddened by the death during the week of Yvonne Casey following a long illness. Yvonne was wife of our former chairman Paul . Our Junior B footballers play Good Council in the Sheridan Cup final on Sunday afternoon at 3.00pm on pitch 35. Please support both teams. There was no winner of our club lotto this week . Please note that the club bar will be closed this week and will re open on Saturday the 9th, to enable the re-refurbishment of the bar to take place. Last orders for the Dublin/Monaghan match can be made to Kieran(0861791120) before Thursday morning. Tickets can be collected from 9-10pm on Friday evening in the clubhouse. There will be a BBQ in the club on Saturday following the game. The BBQ will be on from 8.00 till 9.30pm. Following the BBQ there will be music in the bar from 9.45pm. We look forward to seeing all members back at the club following the match. Our club summer camps take place from the 11-15th and 18-22nd of August. Best wishes to The Dublin Senior Hurlers in the All Ireland Q/F against Tipperary this Sunday. Best wishes also to our Junior B footballers in the Sheridan Cup Final against Good Council. The match is on this Thursday on P34 at 7.15pm. Please come out and support the team. Our Junior A Hurlers ground out a very important victory in the Championship away to a very good St Finian's side in Ridgewood Park and are now in the Championship Quarter Final. Team of the week goes to our U15 Footballers following a dramatic mid week victory over local rivals Scoil Uí Chonnail. MOTM goes to Duffer following a flawless display in goal. Our Junior B Footballers also had 2 great wins during the week, defeating Rosmini in The League and Parnell's in The Sheridan Cup. Johnny O'Connell, Anto Eames, Sean McGovern and Ross McCullough fight it out for their player of the week. Adult hurlers also recorded a fine win over Ballinteer. Our U11's started their Camáint with good performances against Raheny and Na Fianna. Dylan Doyle starred with 2 terrific goals. Huge congrats to Caoimhe O'Connor and Sarah Fagan, who captained Dublin to win the Leinster U14 Division 1 blitz on Saturday, defeating Kildare. Team of the Week are our Girls U13A Footballers who defeated Skerries in league Div 2 (5-11,4-11) in a real thriller. Adult A and B hurlers had convincing league wins at the weekend. U13A footballers turned in their best display of 2014 to defeat Na Fianna in league Division 2. U11 Footballers enjoyed 2 wins from 3 over Parnells. U10 hurlers played out 6 very competitive matches away to Ballyboden, as the whole squad continue to make great progress. Well done to the Dublin U21 Ladies on winning the All Ireland with our own Sarah McCaffrey and Margaret Mohan on the team. TOTW is our Senior footballers, with 2 important league wins to stay top of AFL3. Well done also to our Junior B footballers with impressive wins in their 2 league games this week. Hard luck to Sarah Fagan and Caoimhe O Connor, members of the Dublin U/14 team that were narrowly beaten by 2 points, by Mayo in the All-Ireland semi-final. U10 Girls ended for the summer with excellent displays against Ballyboden. Hard luck to Belgrove schools senior hurlers who lost their final in Croke Park. Well done to the 7 Clontarf players on the St. Brigids and Scoil Mhuire teams who won their finals. The Nursery Finals Day took place on Sat, thanks to all who helped out in making the day a great success. Team of the week are our U12A Footballers following impressive performances at the Newry Mitchels U12 tournament, winning all 6 groups games, before losing out to eventual winners Lavey. Adult Hurlers lost to Ballyboden in the Championship but defeated St. Maurs in the league. Girls U13B side performed brilliantly to draw away to Round Towers of Lusk. U11A Hurlers had a good 7pt win away to Nass with Mark Doyle inspirational for the 2nd match in a row. U10 Hurlers turned in a much improved set of performances, registering several strong performances both home and away, with team of the day the U10 Tigers for two wins out of two. Team of the week goes to our U13 A Hurlers who posted a fine win over Ballinteer SJ, with Kevin Byrne starring as man of the match. Senior Footballers remain unbeaten in AFL3 with another fine win over Ballyboden. The club offers sincere condolences to Adult Hurlers Joe and Johnny Murphy on the passing of their Mother. Well done to Sarah Fagan who captained the Dublin U/14 girls, and Caoimhe O Connor (2-3) who won the Leinster championship on Sat. Best wishes to Belgrove senior hurlers , who for the second year in a row have reached the Senior A final (Herald Cup on Tue June 10th). Also well done to St Brigids Senior hurlers who will play their final on the same day, with 6 Clontarf players in their squad and also U11 Harry Lynch who will line out with Scoil Mhuire. TOTW goes to our U12 Footballers, winning their division in The Kilmacud Blitz, defeating Na Fianna, Kilmacud Crokes and St. Vincent's along the way. Our Junior B Footballers defeated O'Dwyer's in the cup 1/4 Final. MOTM goes to James Durkin, scoring four goals. Our Minor Hurlers defeated Round Towers Clondalkin in the league. Great wins also recorded during the week by the following teams. Our U15 and U13 Footballers defeated Tomás Davis and Naomh Mearnóg respectively. U14 footballers also defeated Plunkett's. Our U9 Hurlers put in a great shift against O'Toole's and Na Fianna. Our U11 Hurlers also enjoyed victory over Fingallians. In our Juvenile Girls section our U14's defeated Craobh Ciarán while our U11's defeated Clanna Gael. Our U10's also enjoyed victories over Bray Emmet's and Whitehall Colmcilles. All our adult players and partners are invited to a BBQ in the club on Bank Holiday Sunday from 6:30pm till 8:00pm. TOTW is our U16 Hurlers defeating Kilmacud Crokes away in Div1. MOTM is Cathal Ryan following an impressive goalkeeping display. Hard luck to our Senior Footballers, going down by 5 pts against a well fancied Brigid's in The Championship. Minor Hurlers had a great win over Maurs to go 3rd in the table. In our juvenile section our U12's enjoyed victory over Lucan. Our U11's also enjoyed victory over Judes, while our U10's also recorded wins over neighbours Raheny and Na Fianna. Our U9's defeated O'Dwyers. U15 footballers play Tomás Davis in a crucial Div2 match in St Paul's this Tue @ 7:30 - please support. Congrats to our Senior Girls, who had a convincing win against Garda in The Championship. Next up Kilmacud Crokes Wednesday May 21st in Páirc De Burca at 7.30pm - please support. Our Juvenile Girls also performed well. The U15's and U14's enjoyed good wins over Marks and Monica's respectively. Our U13's and U11's also overcame Beann Eadair and Kilmacud. In camogie our U9's performed brilliantly against Castleknock. Well done to Declan Monaghan, Andrew Foley and Stephen Russell, members of the Dublin Minor Team that beat Meath in the Leinster Championship at the weekend. TEAM of the week is the entire club, turning out in droves last Monday, on was one of the biggest day's in our club's history. We had gathered in an attempt to break the World record for holding the biggest GAA training session in the world. The weather stayed fine and the club is delighted to report that Clontarf smashed the record, putting us in the history books. Many thanks to Brian and Stephen who drove the event in the weeks coming up to it. On the day itself, thanks to coach Jack McCaffrey and MC Damian O'Meara (2fm). Thanks also to the following. Shay, all the stewards and all who helped with registration and administration on the day. Donal and his team, who set up the training areas. All our mentors who kept informing their teams of the event and who on the day did a great job keeping all the children, particularly our nursery kids entertained before the session began. To everyone else who helped with the day and turned up in such large numbers many thanks. Our U13 hurlers recorded a great win away to St Sylvester's in the league. Commiserations to our U16 A and B footballers, losing out in their championship semi-finals during the week to Ballyboden and St. Sylvester's respectively. Our U14 girls enjoyed a great victory away to Kilmacud. Great wins were also recorded by our U11 girls at home to Na Fianna. Well done to Katie Murray on winning the Leinster Minor Championship with Dublin. Hard luck to Sarah McCaffrey and Margaret Mohan, members of the Dublin senior ladies team that was beaten by Cork in the National League Final. THE week that was. Tuesday: U16 footballers overcome a great Na Fianna side to qualify for the semi final of the A championship for the second year running. Thursday: Our U15 Footballers eventually tell us all what we always knew - that they were better than their current league standing and performed at last to their potential, defeating a gallant Castleknock team. Also our U15 girls defeat St James Gaels at home. Saturday: Early train to Tullamore to see our very own Jack McCaffrey lift the cup for The Dubs after defeating a game Roscommon team to win The U21 All Ireland final. Congratulations also to Niall Dunleavy and Mathius McDonagh, who are members of the squad. The club is honored on the night to welcome to Arás Cluain Tarbh the victorious Dublin team and management. What a party we have. Thanks to all those who prepared the clubhouse for the celebrations. Sunday: We become Division 3 Féile Champions. The team is brilliantly focused, overcoming Brigid's in a classic final over in Blakestown. Having lost their 1st game to TSS, they go on to defeat Judes, Ballymun and OPER en route to the final. Our U14's are our team of the week - what a marvelous performance they put in - congrats to all players and mentors involved. Team of the week goes to our Junior B Hurlers who defeated Whitehall in a great Championship tussle. Special mention for a brilliant Kevin Mangan who scored 2-4 from play on his Adult Championship debut. Our team of the week is our U/14 A girls who won Feile Div 2. Well done also to our B team who reached their semi final. Senior Footballers remain unbeaten. Team of the week is our U15 Girls, who continue to impress with their unbeaten run through Division 1. This week there were standout performances from Orla O'Callaghan, Aoibhe Bell, Ciara Dunlea and Alisha Maguire as the girls defeated Parnells. Both Adult hurling teams had impressive league wins. There were great wins at CCC2 for our U16B, U14 and U13 hurlers. Our U16B Ladies played out a great draw v Man O'War. Congrats to Margaret Mohan and Sarah Mc Caffrey who played with the Dublin Ladies Senior team in the comprehensive defeat of Tyrone in the NFL on Sunday. Last Wednesday the club launched it's attempt at breaking the world record for the biggest Gaelic Football training session. The event is taking place in conjunction with the Clontarf Brian Boru 2014 celebrations. The training session will take place on Monday, May the 5th . Details of the event will be circulated to all teams in the coming days and we are looking for the support of all members as we attempt to break this record. Teams of the week this week are are U/9 and U/10 camogie teams who played their first matches this weekend . Our U/9s played Na Fianna and St Brigids , and our U/10s played Raheny . These games were the club's first competitive camogie games in a long time , and we wish the players and the mentors all the best for the season ahead. Our AFL 3 team had a very good win away to St Brigids. The AFL 6 team were narrowly beaten by James Gaels, and the AFL 10s drew with Raheny. The minor hurlers went down by a point to Mearnog , in a brilliant match played at championship pace. Best wishes to Stephen Russell , who suffered an injury in the match. Adult subs are now seriously overdue and should be paid to a club officer as soon as possible. The numbers drawn in the weekly club lotto were, 7,18,28,30. There was no winner. TOTW is our U15B hurlers (now playing U16), defeating Cuala in a brilliant game on Saturday on P34. MOTM goes to Oisin Maher, displaying a never say die attitude. Declan Adamson, Liam Ennis and Sean O'Flaherty pounced for a goal each in the 2nd half to seal the points. Special thanks to Tom Vickers for doing the nets on the day. Our U11 footballers recorded brilliant wins over Sylvesters. Stand out players were everywhere but Conal Doherty, Cillian O'Mahony and Jack Dolan deserve special mention. Our U10 footballers also recorded great wins against Castleknock and Donabate. Well played on the day to Rian Tracey and Charlie Digan. Our U13 hurlers recorded a great win over local rivals Raheny. Well played Tommy O'Brien and Matthew Howard, scoring 4 goals each in the game. Our U14 Hurlers came up short against Craobh Chiarán, David Kennedy deserving special mention. Our U9's put in a great shift against Naomh Barróg with Dylan Treacy putting in a storming performance. Our U16A Girls recorded a fantastic victory against Na Fianna whilst The B's also enjoyed victory away to Erin's Isle. Our U15B Girls enjoyed a great win over Finbars, extending their winning sequence to three. Emer Moreau, Aíne O'Quigley and Aimeé Ryan deserve special mention. Our U11 Girls also did brilliantly, winning 5 out of 6 matches against Lucan. Congrats to Annie Feehan on making her debut. Our U10 Girls also recorded fantastic wins away against Castleknock. Lucy Curran and Cara Doody deserve special mention. Adult membership fees for both players and non-players are now seriously overdue. Memberships can be paid to any club officer, mentor etc or left in the club bar. GPO Stephen Behan is running an Athletic Development workshop this coming Thurs 20th at 8pm in the clubhouse. Minor Hurlers turned in another super Div 2 display to remain unbeaten, with Steven Russell superb, scoring 6 points from play while dominating at midfield. U16 Div1 Footballers did well to share the spoils away to Tomas Davis, while the U14A team also grabbed a draw. Girls U15's, 16's and Minors all registered excellent wins to remain unbeaten. The club is hosting a night of traditional music this coming Sunday from 9pm in An Cul Doras, all members welcome to attend. AHL 5 Hurlers had a great start to their season with a 6pt win away to Cuala. Under 14 boys are having their Feile fundraiser table quiz in the club bar at 8.30pm on Saturday 8th March. Clubnotes Feb 24th, 2014

TEAM OF THE WEEK is our Minor Hurlers after a great start to the season with a 4 point win over Craobh Chiaran and thanks to a vital goal from sub Cathal Ryan. Senior Footballers and Junior B's recorded good wins. U16 Footballers beat Kilmacud in Div 1 and bests wishes to Ciaran Kyne for a speedy recovery from injury. U15B's lost out to Ballyboden after a great 2nd half fightback. Man of the match was DJ and a big welcome back to Shay Keogh after injury. U14 A's has a big win. U13A footballers had a comprehensive win against Round Towers. U12 Hurlers won both grading games while U11 hurlers had a below par start to their season as they hosted an impressive Nass squad. U9 and 10 hurling squads were delighted to get their seasons off to a start at DCC. Well done to Sarah Fagan (Captain) and Caoimhe O'Connor on making the Dublin Ladies Under 14 panel. They are making their championship debut this sat in Parnells, as they host Kildare at 2pm.Lotto numbers 3,24,25,28. No winner, EURO 50 prizes to Mike O'Reagan and Mick McGinn. Adult subs deadline is Feb 28th and payment can be made in the club bar this Thur 7:30-9pm. All members are urged to please support the GAA national draw with only 10 days left.
